OPI My Italian is a Trivial Rusty, ii coats plus top coat

It'southward the most wonderful tiiiiiiiiiime of the year…. no, it's not Christmas however, just it is FALL!!!!! Although 2020 has been a steaming pile of poo, one of the bright spots has been all the incredible fall and Halloween polishes that have been released this year. Well, non from my wallet'south perspective. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but nail shine and happiness are pretty much the aforementioned affair, sooooooo… all the fall polishes, please! I'yard hoping to share a few of my favorites with y'all earlier the other holiday season starts, but with my current schedule of posting every ii weeks, nosotros may non fit every bit many in as in the past. Simply I would rather go for quality and we are starting off Fall 2020 with a banger! It's from OPI's Milan collection, which was pretty much made for me: I ended up getting 11 of the 12 polishes (cheers polishpick.com, no mode could I have done that paying full price). This beautiful burnt orange rusty dirt colour, My Italian is a Little Rusty, is the commencement of those xi polishes I have worn. You guys KNOW I become insane for oranges and while this is definitely brown and not orangish, information technology's the orangey-ist brown out at that place and I adore it. The proper noun is definitely a 5/5 too, perchance not specific to Milan but perfect for the hue!

Most people are putting out more content during these tin't leave your house times, just me? Nah bro, I ain't about doing what everyone else is doing! Just kidding, the real reason I take not put up a blog post for weeks is that I had to rush to get the bare minimum stuff done for Influenster for this entrada because I got everything I needed but five days earlier it was all over, yikes. I likewise am still going to work and working full time (I work a local regime job and we JUST got remote access on Thursday so we are however trying to effigy out how that will work with us still having to serve the public) and when I become home in the evening later on eating and doing any cleaning needs to be done, I spend manner too much fourth dimension watching commentary YouTube to distract myself (Kurtis Conner has been my principal jam lately). Thankfully, I too take nail polish to distract me through all this craziness as well. I do not have to exercise a blog post for the Influenster Mexico City box, but I thought I might as well because I tested everything they sent me. The box (actually information technology all came in two boxes) had pretty much everything I use for a full mani minus the cotton rounds and cuticle pusher! We will have a look at the 2 polishes first, Don't Tell a Sol and Verde Nice to Meet You, so we'll move on to the other goodness.

OPI-Good-Girls-Gone-Plaid

OPI Good Girls Gone Plaid, two coats plus top coat

You guys… it's the final postal service in my series on OPI'southward Scotland collection! We accept made it through the eleven polishes I purchased and I'1000 proud of whatsoever of you who have stuck with me through the serial. Although allow's be existent, when you're looking at colors this gorgeous you cannot exactly phone call it a chore. We finish it all off with a terminal majestic, a purple then dark that your non-blast smooth friends will be skeptical when you lot tell them it'due south majestic. OPI calls Good Girls Gone Plaid an "alluring amethyst" which prompted me to google "amethyst" and I suppose it is an okay description. Some amethysts tin can be dark and it certainly looks darker when the crystals are all layered upward. Fine OPI, I'll accept information technology.

OPI-Red-Heads-Ahead

OPI Blood-red Heads Ahead, 2 coats plus elevation glaze

Happy Sunday, everyone! Have you been hit those deals difficult this weekend? I've picked up a few gifts, but the simply smash/mitt related auction I shopped for myself was at Unicorn Magic Skincare. I was planning on trying out their products in the spring, but decided to stock up during the sale. Why non? I really demand to learn to restrain myself during the twelvemonth with polish and candles until the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Anyway, I've fallen behind on the  OPI Scotland collection, so today we are looking at Red Heads Ahead, which is probably the almost vibrant polish in the drove. OPI says this color "shines like the auburn locks of a Scot." Now, I will acknowledge that I have not looked at every person in the world's hair, just I have never seen a living human beingness with hair this naturally ruddy. I would say this a archetype, juicy red that leans on the darker side of medium-toned. I accept some comparisons at the stop that I recall really show where this colour falls in the red spectrum.

OPI-Rub-a-Pub-Pub

OPI Rub-a-Pub-Pub, 2 coats plus top coat

Happy Midweek, everyone! We are in the concluding stretch of polishes I take to share with you from the OPI Scotland collection. If all goes to program, the terminal post will be going up a calendar week from today! Wow! Cheers to all of y'all who have been following the series, I hope you accept been enjoying the polishes as much as I take. Today I accept another winner that I got to photograph in natural calorie-free – honey painting my nails on the weekend! Rub-a-Pub-Pub is described by OPI every bit "a absurd mix of coal and gray" which is spot-on! I call these shades "charcoal" – besides dark to be patently grey but besides soft to be black. Grey polishes and near black polishes are my faves, so when they combine in these charcoal-y shades I say yes, please, give me them all!

OPI-Boys-Be-Thistle-ing-at-Me

OPI Boys Exist Thistle-ing at Me, two coats plus top coat

I hope you all are having/have had a great weekend! Today we are going to talk about the third purple OPI decided to grace us with this fall. I think the name, "Boys Be Thistle-ing at Me," is 1 of the better puns, just I don't really treat information technology. I guess I loathe unsolicited male attention. On the contrary, I dear this color and have pretty much nix else like information technology! OPI says this shade "evokes the flora of Scotland all twenty-four hours long." Of all their little descriptions, that was the closest affair I could find that actually sort of got close to the color. I would describe this shade as a raisin-y mauve metallic.

OPI-Things-Ive-Seen-in-Aber-green

OPI Things I've Seen in Aber-green, 2 coats plus top glaze

Today is truly a glorious 24-hour interval! Nosotros get to look at the one single green in OPI's Scotland drove as we march on with my series. I think it should exist a legal requirement for OPI to take at least one green in all their fall/winter collections. The Washington DC Drove gave us two absolute bangers (yes, there were three, but I didn't care too much for one of them), the Iceland Collection had an interesting i, final year's Peru drove gave the states the divine Ayahuasca Made Me Practise It, and this year nosotros get some murky dark forest green goodness with Things I've Seen in Aber-green. I always say that my favorite polish color is teal but anybody seems to associate me with greenish so I guess I'll just embrace it. (I fabricated that sound then begrudging, equally if in that location are not virtually a million dark-green polishes I've gushed about that have made y'all recognize me every bit a queen of green!)

OPI-Nice-Set-of-Pipes

OPI Nice Gear up of Pipes, 2 coats plus top coat

Strap in kids, the blogging is virtually to get serious! I would like to accept all these posts upwards before December, so I am going to attempt two weblog posts a week. Endeavour being the central word there, y'all know my track tape. We accept some other lovely royal to await at today; regal lovers, we actually have gotten exactly what we deserve with this collection. So many darker purples and pretty darn practiced hue diversity among them, also, if I do not say so myself. Prissy Prepare of Pipes is described by OPI as a "grey purple" which is kind of true. I come across it more equally a darker blue-leaning regal. It is non particularly dusty, though it is a tad dustier in person than you lot'll see in my photos.

OPI-Nessie-Plays-Hide-and-Sea-k

OPI Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-k, 2 coats plus acme coat

We are almost halfway through my series on my picks from OPI's Scotland collection! I think I may need to ramp up my posting to twice a week next month if I want to end it off before Christmas calendar month, aka Dec. Today we are looking at Nessie Plays Hide & Sea-chiliad. For the first time in this serial and possibly on my weblog ever, all swatch photos were taken in natural lighting! I didn't realize that simply by sitting on my couch I could take great boom photos until the weekend I wore this one. I will try to exercise that more with weekend swatches, calorie-free boxes but are not the same. Before nosotros get into the polish, there is something that needs to be addressed: why did they use "sea" as a pun? Nessie is supposed to be in a lake. The proper noun would have been totally cute and fine if they had just called information technology "Nessie Plays Hide & Seek" but and then they had to go all inaccurate about a mythical being's habitat. smh.

Suzi-Needs-a-Loch-smith-bottle

We're but at post #4 in my series on the OPI Scotland collection, only… it's here, it'south finally here, my beloved burnt orange! I call back information technology is a existent testament to my willpower that I did not wear this 1 kickoff. Because there are so many purples in the collection, I tried to come upwards with an lodge that did not take me wearing two in a row and this lovely, burnt pumpkin got pushed back a trivial in the lineup. I actually had worn it before this post, I lied, wore it for the skittle mani I did in September. Did you actually expect my willpower to truly exist that good? Please. This gorgeous, autumn-in-a-bottle orange has a name that I feel like OPI came upwards with and but stuck information technology with whatever color they did not already have an idea for. Why is Suzi Needs a Loch-smith orange, shouldn't it exist bluish or something more lake-y? No ginger jokes for the orangish polish? Information technology'south Scotland for crying out loud. They definitely could have done improve in the name department. Simply in the formula department… mmm, it does not get meliorate than this, friends!
